paulathand lives in Brooklyn, NY.I’m a guy who, for various personal reasons, has come to appreciate the simple fact that the black energy industry (oil, natural gas, and coal, in descending order of lethality, and the ever threatening nuclear in its own category) has a death grip on the planet. And also, that conversion to sustainable energy could have taken place many times over in the decades in which the degradation of the planet in myriad varieties by the black energy industry has continued.
Interesting notion, that macrowikieconomics is replacing government as the vehicle of social change. Have I been wasting a lot of time and energy lobbying elected and appointed officials at a moment when removing obstacles from every path the black energy industry wishes to pursue is policy at every level of domestic government? Collusion in the endless delaying of conversion to sustainable energy is the only game in town.
