I've been away for a while (forgot my password and didn't feel like clicking the link to get it back <--lazy) However, I did keep up with most of my challenges so I know my CO2 savings are actually higher than listed. The challenges I didn't do so well on? "Right No, Less Cow", "Green Ham and Cheese" and "Get Off the Bottle," the three I would do most often of the others I hardly did at all while I was away. I really, really love ham and meat, and when I would go to work, I admit it, I'd forget to bring my lunch and would walk over to the nearby Smart and Final to pick up the ham and cheddar Lunchables (a weakness I've had since I was a kid - they're so nummy!) Well, I have my password now, so it's back to keeping track of my CO2 savings again, which means no more Lunchables for me (cry.) The Compost thing was kind of a bust last year - against my wishes my family put the composter out in the sun and while for most of the states that is a good idea, in a semi-desert with temperatures regularly reaching degrees 90, 100 and above, it dried it out too much. It all went into the green waste bin that gets taken by the city government to make (what else?) compost. So, now the challenge will be to get a different composter that would work better for us (my mom wants a dual one - I keep telling her there is no need for two.)

CerridwynEldritch, thanks for the comment! I agree with you, many laptops don't have a great battery. Nevertheless, you are not using it during peak hours so you qualify for the challenge! The important thing is not to use it from the grid during those times. Cheers, Edison.
