I cannot help but feel that college students around the world are the people who can lead this movement. People like my parents are so opposed to change that they purposely bought styrofoam plates to see my reaction. They believe that this is just a movement to make money and deprive yourself from luxuries. It is my personal mission to change their minds by leading by example. The more I decrease my carbon footprint, and convince people around me to do the same, I feel that eventually they will see the errors of their ways.
