I’m part of a neighborhood effort to make our houses more efficient. Before that I helped started hypertat (see hypertat.com) and before that I built a super-insulated house that used $23 of electricity a month. My house is 90 years old. I’ve insulated, plugged leaks, installed efficient appliances and lights, and landscaped to shade the house in summer.
