I’ve been neatly folding grocery bags and storing them in my trunk and bringing them into the next store for about 20 years. People who refuse to do this are such blockheads and there’s tons of them. Ooooooh, no, have to keep the trunk pristine. Give me a break!!! Now, of course, the great reusable bags has added a dimension to this.
