My family is very green. We purchase organic veggies and fruits from local farms (www.twosmallfarms.com & www.froghollow.com), they deliver every week close from our house and we pick up. We now have chicken and beef delivered from humanely farmed, grass-fed, no antibiotics and so on… (check it out : http://www.eatwild.com/products/california.html)
My new challenge is reduce the consumption of stuff made in plastic. I want to avoid throwing plastic.
