As far as I know there is just one person from Texas who joined our team, but they are not active anymore. Graduates from JCS still are welcome, but few if any former students are active.

Mr. T how come we have so many members that dont go to jcs? theres some people that went to other schools and other peoples graduated

I took some challenges (well, I finally registered them) I haven’t been using paper towels for three months, I haven’t purchased bottles drinks, I don’t use phosphates and any form at home anymore. . .I like that we are all working together to make the world a better place! Go Jacoby Creekrs!

yeah! people need to live up to the pledge that they made when they joined this team and also everyone that joined carbon rally! people need to take action and save carbon. the pupose of this site is to help save the earth, not just to say that your a member.

Dear Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger,

Please read this: It’s been about a month since Governor Jim Douglas “clicked-off” the Vermont School Carbon Challenge in a classroom in Northfield VT. The Gov committed to the Power Shower challenge and also, along with several sponsors, threw down $15,000 in prize money to be awarded to the top Vermont school teams in April 09.

Well, they don’t call it the GREEN Mountain State for nothing. There are now close to 400 Vermonters Rallying across the state, with several student teams being some of the largest on Carbonrally. Check out the Richmond Middle School (131 members), Hazen Union School (also 131 members!), and Essex High Tech (85 members). All together, there are 14 new teams across the state, and more joining each week. About 5 tons of CO2 have been eliminated. Calling all Governors… check out Vermont!
