Too much junk! too much junk...
Can we please clear out this house?
In the trunk
And then we'll take it all to the dump
Then we won't need the car
'Cause we'll stay where we are
And I'll have all this room
I got tired of pacing the floor
Sick of it all, I'm done with the floor
Walked away ever since I got a new job climbing the walls...
...and lest we forget the walls create our space and it is our responsibility. What was your suggestion for challenge? I'm having a bit of a hard time in the site. -mo

Hey yo!
so Matt and Katie and Mani won a bag. Still have to get mani and matt theirs. Um, yeah summer's over so get off your lazy sweating butts and do some stuff. camp, bike, walk a marathon, play some wii rockband, something, but also try to update your stuff. it takes so much time, i know. If you really need help i'll come over and irritate you until you do update.

Alrighty, the 4th is upon us. I'm sure everyone has some party to attend at some point. Here's a list of things to remember or try with parties we go to. They may not get you points on carbonrally but everything is not about points. Do because you should.
1. Carpool (also helps with the designated driver thing)
2. Recycle everything (whether host or attendee you can make sure things are recycled)
3. Turn off the AC (so much in and out of the house is sure to have the AC working no-stop, give it a break until the in/out has stopped.)
4. Instead of converting the wicked to the great sandwichmaker above, convert them to carbonrally or something they should already be doing - Best way to do it? - give them the old what's the worst that could happen speech. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zORv8wwiadQ
5. Get everyone active, bring a wii or something, make it fun.
Anyone have more for the list?
Oh yeah looks like we have some new folks, introductions please. Thanks.
Touch the puppet head.

Yo veggies and homies and retirees and depressies,
New challenge and new month. Do something will you, we're paying for this stuff. No, but seriously. The new challenge is one I suggested. All me. Well Toni told me to post it so good job to us.
This one's easy. Vacuum out under your fridge. yeah. save you money on electricity and on milk. recession and all.
By the way anyone with a trebuchet that we can used to take over Bartlett when the revolution comes can keep it in my back yard. Any time now.
So yeah, do the dumb things you gotta do. Touch the puppet head and do some challenges.
See if I don't.

For all the Veggies out there this one's easy. Don't eat meat 2 times a week. C'mon, save your heart, save some animals, and save the earth all at once. How much more fun could it be without bikinis and speedos?
Yes its true, livestock contributes more to global warming than any other source. And we, therefore, because we pay for this meat which encourages the industry to continue its horrible ways, are bigger polluters than our cars. This is truly the only thing that gets me to consider stopping the meet all together. So have a Boca burger, some Tofurkey, or just a cheese pizza (please not brocolli due to its feeling of pain). But for the love of the Bob don't do it on Friday! We all need to remember to celebrate the almighty sandwich maker above's weekly day of meat.
Also, invite some friends, loved ones, enemies, hobbits, or whatever to practice their own form of Bob worship by joining Trogg's Hollow on Carbonrally. Take some challenges and vote for my suggestion in the workship to appease the almighty sandwich maker above's lust for meat.
Cheers, Skål, and Nostrovia!
Have you hugged you Bob today?

Alrighty, I got some bags because we kinda won the challenge as a team for December. So, I'm setting up a challenge of my own.
Part 1:
Everyone who breaks 1,000 lbs of carbon will get a bag. TanteHex doesn't get to play in this challenge because they won individually in December and January again. They have enough bags already. Oh, and they're already over 1,000 lbs.
Part 2:
Anyone from the team who goes over 2 tons gets another bag.

Hey Birdman,
Thanks for the welcome. We (Trogg's Hollow) are family and friends, mostly around Chicago. Some of us are imports from lands unknown, or maybe known but far away. We just like to do the little things and know others who do the same already. Its a simple way to remind us to keep it up. And, its a good thing for me (Trogg) to nag everyone about.
Hopefully the international rally will work out cuz like I said we've got imports trying to join already.

Hey Trogg's Hollow,
Welcome to the leaderboard! Wow that was fast.
This is a great team... how are you all related?

Hi everybody!
Go ahead and check the leaderboard. Yup, we're in the top 4!!! I'm sure if EVERYONE looked at the challenges and updated theirs we'd look even better. I see we have a few that have registered but not taken on a challenge. They are really easy to do. So lets see challenges. I know everyone is for saving money and most all of these things save you money as well.
1. Even if you go to the store and forget to bring your own bags, just refuse bags and put it all back in the cart and into your trunk. Then get bags out of your house when you get home. (once a month)
2. Ice storms are coming/here. Fill up your tires and use the challenge here. its safer and cuts down on fuel consumption. (once a month)
3. Tap water is better for you, almost free and required no trip to the recycling bin. Stop the bottled water. (once a week)
4. Not driving to work? Car-pooling? That counts as your once a week don't drive a car challenge. So does biking to work!! (once a week)
5. Low light killing you eyesight? Yellow incandescents got you down? Garage or front porch lights not keeping the graffiti off the neighbor's walls? Use a compact florescent. Menards has 3 bulb(100 watt replacement) and 4 bulb (65 watt replacement) natural sunlight compact fluorescents for $7.97 a pack. Go get 3 and replace the bulbs. (Also, putting them inside sure helps shaving.) (1 challenge for every 3 bulbs you replace)
6. Holy cow! LED holiday lights are OSM!!! They are better and truer in color, 90% less electricity used and won't burn your finger (or the kid's) when you drink too much at the holiday party and tumble into the tree. Plus, they cost the same as the regular fire-hazard holiday strands. Again, Menards has multi colors and solids in C6, C7, C9 and icicles. (1 challenge for every 200 bulbs you replace.)
And finally, get some folks to join (wives, husbands, nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, co-workers, friends and enemies) and if they are already in carbonrally have them join the team. Keep up with your challenges. Its not that hard and you may already be doing some of this stuff already. Cheer on each other. Let's have fun.
