Last Call??

This suggestion has been promoted to the "Ringtone Revival" challenge!

Last call: Remember me? Your old cell phone….

Cell phones and cell phone batteries contain hazardous substances such as arsenic, mercury, cobalt, zinc, and copper. These substances can be harmful to the environment and should therefore, not end up in landfills. Unwanted cell phone is easily recyclable and can be used again. If you have an old cell phone gathering dust you can donate them to a non-profit organization called Donate my cell phone. This will keep them out of the trash and help the needy. Please visit the website www.donatemycellphone.org for more information.

Our local dump collects all kinds of batteries for proper, safe disposal. Check your local dump to see if they do so, too.
