Plastic not paper

Great one!

For parties that you are hosting do not go out and waste your money on paper cups because every paper cup is part of a dead tree that could have helped reduce carbon. Also paper cups are not re-useable like plastic cups.

Great one!

Plastic is awful for the environment. It is not biodegradable, and not easily recyclable! Plastic cups will most likely end up in a land fill and pollute the environment even more. Neither is very good, but plastic is even worse.

I think it would actually be better to buy neither paper or plastic. Plastic uses energy and creates pollutants as it is being created. Plastic is more reusable, but reusing low grade plastic like party cups is somewhat hazardous to your health, because after the first use or so, it starts leeching chemicals and absorbing toxins. And neither paper nor plastic cups are very biodegradable. So people should just use their own dishes and wash them.
