Street lights with sensors or late night shut off.

Great one!

Write your local city or county and ask them to either put daylight sensors on the street lights in your neighborhood, or actually turn them off from Midnight on in residential areas, and 3am on in all other areas.

Extra bonus ( It will be nice to be able to see the stars once again. )

Great one!

Good idea! We live across from a small strip mall and all the stores kept their lights on all night. We contacted each of the merchants and asked them to turn off their storefront lights at midnight or 1 am. Turns out the landlord had already provided timers but the tenants didn't realize. It was pretty easy to convince them!
