When getting self-serve coffee at the coffee shop...

Put your half & half, milk, or whatever in FIRST, then put the coffee in to avoid having to use a wooden stick or plastic straw to stir it all together.

OR, bring your own stirrer. You can shake it up when adding cream but when adding sugar you really need more of a stir. So, someone should start marketing a "greener" travel coffee mug with a slot for a stirrer... much like how the palm pilot has a little slot for its stylus.
